MATERIALISTS Trailer: Dakota Johnson Chooses Between Chris Evans & Pedro Pascal in Celine Song’s Newest Love Story

Just a few years after bringing romance and tears to moviegoers with her phenomenal directorial debut Past Lives, Celine Song is back with a whole new love triangle. Materialists, the writer-director’s newest venture with A24, brings together the alluring trio of Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans. Johnson stars as a matchmaker who finds herself torn between a charming millionaire (Pascal) and her struggling actor ex-boyfriend (Evans).

Materialists also has Song collaborating once again with her Past Lives producers Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler under their Killer Films banner, along with cinematographer Shabier Kirchner, editor Keith Fraase, and costume designer Katina Danabassis. With the film’s June 13th release not too far down the road, we could see it heading to either Cannes or Tribeca (the latter more fitting considering its luminous NYC setting).
